More new pieces!

OK so I have some more new designs to show you.

I love this necklace! I have used 8mm and 4mm Lapis Lazuli beads for this. I linked them together as I hand wrapped each bead. It did take about an hour and a half but I love it! I have an order for one like this but n red colours so I will show a piccy when I have finished that.

Also, Yay! I have boxes now! :D They are simple pillow boxes with a branded wrap. They are so simple but I think that they look really good.

OK so thats all for today. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think, especially about the boxes I would love some feedback on those.

So the orders are ready!

OK so I have finished making all of the items that were ordered on Friday. I am very happy with them and I don't really want to part with the purple charm bracelet! Oh well I will just have to make myself one another time! :)
Well here are all the photos that I promised.......

These are a matching set, and I think that they go really well together.

The other charm bracelet that was ordered was the blue one from a couple of posts ago. Like I said I am really pleases with these. Let me know what you think...

Spiral wrapped bracelet

Hello again.
I have been busy again since my last post making these gorgeous spiral wrapped bracelets. I really enjoy making them as they allow my mind to wonder. This one below I have used some Amber coloured glass beads of varying different shapes, sizes and finishes. It has a hook and eye clasp made from 18g SP wire. The beads are wrapped and linked with 24g SP wire.

These ones below are made using glass beads that I have had for a while. They have an iridescent layer on them that makes them look very special but is very hard to photograph! lol I have used the same wire as before in the above bracelet.

This bracelet Is a little bit different in that I used 20g SP wire to wrap and link the beads. I think I like it better with 20g wire. It looks neater and a bit sturdier than the ones above. I did make this one first but I didn't have enough 20g wire to do more than this one! lol when I get my hands on some more then I think I will be making some more!

I think that I had almost as much fun taking these photos as I did making these pieces. Thank you for looking.

My latest creations

Hi all.
Well I have been very busy over the last few days. I have made several pairs of earrings. I had a go at making my own ear wires. I used 20g silver plated wire to do mine and so of course I had to make lots of things to hang off of them! lol.

The disks on this pair I made using shrink plastic. It is a material that I have not really used before, so I really enjoyed playing with this. It is coloured with an iridescent mica powder that I heat set during the shrinking process. I really like the way hat these have turned out. I added the dangle with an 'S' link that I also made. I think that these would look great worn in the summer, especially as big jewellery is going to be a big trend.

This pair above are also made from 20g SP wire. I made the headpins myself to match the wrapping on the top of the bead. I have been going a bit nuts for wire wrapping beads in this way, whenever I sit down to play at the moment I will inevitably end up with something wrapped! lol

I love this pair, these are by far my faves. I used some new goodies that I had ordered a while ago but where delayed because of all the snow we have had! Well I finally got them through my letterbox this morning and this is the result. I have used some more Opalite, this time in a Briolette cut and fresh water potato pearls, also new :) I think that I am going to have to practise wrapping briolettes, I gave up and used a bead cap instead but I think that they look pretty cool.

I'm not sure where the inspiration for this pair came from. I don't often work with red, Its not a colour I tend to wear much of, But I think that its starting to grow on me.

So hope you like them, because I love them!

Getting ready to sell!

Well I have made two more charm bracelets ready for when I start to sell all of this stuff! This one as you can see I have made in tones of Blue. The big beads are Indian Glass beads, and there are also Swarovski AB clear 4mm Bicone beads, Opalite chips and some dangles made with white bugle beads and blue seed beads.

After seeing how well The Opalite chips went with the Purple's of the previous charm bracelet I wasn't sure how they would work with other colours. But I have to say they look gorgeous with blue! They seem to morph into the colour that you use them with. With this blue they look fresh and calm.

With the red charm bracelet they look fiery and dare I say it a bit sexy! lol. I am going to have to get a lot more of them, so I can make one for every colour of the rainbow!

All the jump rings were made by myself after watching a webisode by Plum and Verdigris. If you haven't already then you should watch all of their webisodes because they are packed full of ideas and techniques that you will find very helpful. So as Tamara Berg says I am going to get out there and make something beautiful!!
